How We Are Compensated As independent fiduciary financial planners we provide the following compensation structures: 1. Fee-Based- We charge a billable to the client for services rendered. 2. Asset Charge Based- If we are managing the money and the client prefers to have our fee paid out of their investment account we will charge this way. We will go over these fees per client depending on the scope of all the services being provided and details on the money being managed. 3. Hourly- Some clients hire us on retainer as fee-based and other come in for consults and pay us hourly just for a review. We will go over these fees per client depending on the scope of all the services being provided and details.4. Commission Based- When financial products are needed on the investment and insurance side many of the vendors pay us directly for use of their products with clients. These commissions are already built into the product. Depending on services being provided this may be enough for payment of our services and in other cases it may be a combination of commission and other payment types above. *Please note: At NFP Wealth Team we do not make any financial investment/insurance products nor do we receive any financial incentives to use one financial investment/insurance product over another. We do not get compensation bonuses in any form from NFP nor any of our investment/insurance vendors. Our sole goal when products are needed is to search the approved product marketplace and find the best fits to put in front of our clients for discussion.
